The draw for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil was held on Friday December 6, 2013. Players and fans alike were finally able to see the match-ups for the finals in Brazil. Some big name teams (Argentina, Brazil, Spain,) would have been pleased with the draw, while others (England, USA) were left cursing their luck. While there is no clear Group of Death as in previous tournaments, two groups immediately caught my attention. Group D and Group G. Personally I think Group D is the tougher of the two groups. Some people think it’s Group G. I guess we will have to wait until June 2014 to find out.
Predicting a tournament of this magnitude is never easy, especially this time around when there are so many improved teams. Belgium, Colombia, Switzerland and Uruguay immediately comes to mind. Don’t be surprised if you see one of these teams in the Semi-Finals. More importantly, don’t be surprised if you see a really big name team going out in the Second Round (See prediction below).
All in all,the tournament in Brazil should be one of the better ones in recent history.

Brazil out in the first round…you hurt me heart, Renegade! Bad too! LOL! Think Messi will get Golden Boot though…don’t think Kun fully fit.

Brazil out in the 2nd round actually….Whoever they meet, it will be a revenge mission (Spain or Netherlands). I think its highly likely Messi or a player from Argentina will win the Golden Boot.
