Sometimes the road taken can be deadly.
Recently on my way home, I spotted a dead Opossum by the side of the road. This was surprising because this was my first time seeing an Opossum in person and just my luck, it was dead. Also, apart from being dead (that sucks), the marsupial looked to be in relatively good condition.
The road taken is not always doom and gloom, sometimes it can be delightful.

we had a huge possum in our backyard in Houston. used to bug the dog’s at night

I hadn’t seen one up close before, of course they’re nocturnal. but it was scary!

We had a big possum living under our deck, but I think it’s moved next door. They’re not bad to have around as they eat lots of things we’d rather not have around and rarely get rabies.
