If you own and/ or operate a motor vehicle in Jamaica, you will be stopped by the police for some reason or another at some point. In fact, you may be asked to pull over for absolutely no reason at all. Yes, yes… they will tell you “reasonable suspicion” or some other legal blah blah. Nevertheless you can leave the scene smiling and still driving your car or in a worse case scenario end up in a jail cell or even “worst case” scenario “accidentally” shot dead. Do you like jail cells or death? I didn’t think so.
