I had so much fun the first time around doing the “Name That Song” post that I decided to do a part two. That and the fact that I found a draft I had previously made with songs that were not in the original post. I felt it would be a disservice not to highlight those songs in a separate post, especially since they are songs I love. If you didn’t participate for the first post, don’t hesitate to list your favorites this time around. They don’t even have to be your favorites. How many songs can you recall with names in the title?
Here is another list of ten songs I love with names in the title.
- Janie’s Got A Gun – Aerosmith
- You Can Call Me Al – Paul Simon
- A Boy Named Sue – Johnny Cash
- Long Tall Sally – Little Richard
- Mandy – Barry Manilow
- Stacy’s Mom – Fountains of Wayne
- Annie’s Song – John Denver
- Stan – Eminem
- Kayleigh – Marillion
- Sara – Frankie Paul
Okay, I’ll give you the Aerosmith number (saw them way back when at a rock festival in the UK) but the rest …. not my cup of tea,I’m afraid.

I’ve heard a lot of those songs you named. There are so many with names in the title, so let’s see if I can remember a few more…
Amie – Pure Prairie League
Barbara Anne – Beach Boys
Cathy’s Clown – Everly Brothers
Delilah – Tom Jones

Well, that’s enough for now, but it’s fun to find them & remember the songs. 🙂
